Bulldog Completes Training

Army National Guard Private Audree J. Morrison has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, SC. During her nine week training stint, she studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.

Audree is the daughter of Dawn Morrison, Vicksburg and is a 2002 graduate of Vicksburg High School.

Davis Completes Air Forces Basic Training

Air Force Airman Kenneth J. Davis graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Davis earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force by completing basic training.

Ken is the son of Timothy Davis of E. U Ave., Vicksburg, Michigan and a 2008 graduate of Vicksburg High School.

He's in the Army Now

Army Pvt. Nolan C. Guardado has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, OK.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission and received instruction and training exercises in drill and ceremonies, Army history, core values and traditions, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, rifle marksmanship, weapons use, map reading and land navigation, foot marches, armed and unarmed combat, and field maneuvers and tactics.

He is the son of Jerry and Joyce Guardado of E. Washington St. and a 2008 graduate of Vicksburg High School.

It is a brick walkway in the courtyard at the Bulldog Stadium entrance designed to recognize the members of our great Community. You can be a part of Vicksburg's past, present and future with an inscribed brick which will be visible to future generations. All bricks ordered this winter will be placed in the walkway in early spring.
