Welcome to Vicksburg High School, home of the Bulldogs!! Vicksburg High School has a strong tradition of success in both academics and extra-curricular activities. Our entire high school staff is committed to providing rigorous academic opportunities to our students while providing a variety of academic supports to insure success for all of our students. With outstanding support from our parents and community, Vicksburg High School takes pride in developing high character in all of our students.
Vicksburg High School is proud to offer a variety of advanced placement courses, nationally recognized fine arts courses, comprehensive and varied club activities, EFE and EFA course offerings, dual enrollment opportunities, and much more. In addition, many athletic opportunities exist for all students. Our students are deeply involved in many projects that support the community as well as the greater Kalamazoo area.

Michigan Profile for Healthy Youth
Once again, our VHS 9th and 11th graders will be taking part school in the Michigan Profile for Healthy Youth Survey (MiPHY) supported by the Michigan Departments of Education and Community Health. The MiPHY is an online student survey available every other year to all Michigan Schools. This research survey will ask about health behaviors of 7th, 9th and 11th grade students. Participation in the MiPHY survey is voluntary. This is a private, confidential survey. Students will not be asked to provide their name or any other identifying information. A “Parental Notification Form”, “High School Survey” and a “MiPHY Brochure” have been attached for your review. If you have any questions concerning the MiPHY please contact Mr. Brush at VHS at 321-1161 or abrush@vicksburgschools.org.

Warm Winter Walking
Walk where it's warm this winter! The following buildings will be open as indicated for walkers from October through March and only when school is in session. Please click on the calendar(s) at left of this page for dates when school is not in session (dates subject to change).
Please tell a staff person that you are in the building for winter walking.
Sunset Lake - Mondays through Fridays from 6:30-8 a.m. and 4-8 p.m. Please use main entrance.
High School - Mondays through Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. Please use the covered east entrance (Wilson St.).
